摘要: Although insulin-induced hypoglycemia is a potent stimulus for growth hormone (GH) secretion in humans, was reported to suppress GH sheep. We investigated whether suppression sheep during insulin resulted from the dose of administered or fed state animal. Saline (0.05, 0.2, 1.0, 5.0 U/kg) intravenous boluses were eight fasted ewes crossover experiment. In another experiment, four 2 h before administrations either 0.2 5 U/kg insulin. All doses comparable hypoglycemia, although duration increased directly with dose. Hypoglycemia animals stimulated secretion. The rise above baseline inversely related dose, and 1 late below concentrations. Insulin administration caused an identical degree but no increase GH. Insulin-hypoglycemia stimulates manner similar response dependent on both
