摘要: This study aimed to evaluate differences in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) levels of Aβ peptides older adults with late-life depression compared non-depressed controls. We conducted a systematic review meta-analysis the literature using PubMed, Web science Scopus databases no search limits for publication dates or languages. Two independent reviewers extracted data assessed quality. Six hundred references were retrieved, we included 12 studies after eligibility screening. Older (LLD) had higher Aβ40:Aβ42 ratio participants (SMD = 1.10, CI95% [0.28; 1.96], p = 0.01), marginally significant reduction CSF Aβ42 (SMD = -1.12, [-2.47; 0.22], p = 0.1). The present results evidence that have metabolism, same direction observed individuals AD. These metabolism may help identify subgroup subjects LLD at risk developing
