Paradoxes of Molecular Coevolution in the rDNA Multigene Family

摘要: It is generally assumed that selection underlies the evolution of coadapted gene complexes required for establishment coordinated phenotypes. The molecular coevolution between functional regions rDNA multigene family and other genetic components, as well different within genes, requires a more elaborate explanation because evolutionary dynamics families are subject to variety mechanisms DNA turnover, natural selection.
