摘要: Benthic foraminiferal assemblages from sediments around active or recently hydrothermal vents in the Aeolian Arc have been investigated four areas with different mineralization and seafloor exhalative activity at depths between ~60 ~300 m. Active spots were distinguished surrounding by direct observations a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) subsequent sampling. Samples taken water are characterized number of mineralogies reflecting changing temperature fluids. Overall, benthic foraminifera absent sites high-temperature emissions, their distribution low-temperature emissions is very patchy, depending on physical and/or chemical conditions differences composition emitted In Secca del Capo area, which free recent emission activity, population indicative normal marine environment, Globocassidulina subglobosa, Cassidulina crassa, Gavelinopsis lobatulus.
