摘要: Benthic foraminiferal assemblages from sediments around active or recently hydrothermal vents in the Aeolian Arc have been investigated four areas with different mineralization and seafloor exhalative activity at depths between ~60 ~300 m. Active spots were distinguished surrounding by direct observations a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) subsequent sampling. Samples taken water are characterized number of mineralogies reflecting changing temperature fluids. Overall, benthic foraminifera absent sites high-temperature emissions, their distribution low-temperature emissions is very patchy, depending on physical and/or chemical conditions differences composition emitted In Secca del Capo area, which free recent emission activity, population indicative normal marine environment, Globocassidulina subglobosa, Cassidulina crassa, Gavelinopsis lobatulus. Basiluzzo, dei Pesci, Panarea areas, degrees three distinct recognized. The first assemblage dominated Ammodiscus catinus, Glomospira charoides, gordialis indicates influence. second assemblage, Lobatula lobatula, Asterigerinata mamilla, Rosalina globularis, Quinqueloculina spp. as main constituents, seagrass environment influenced diffuse emissions. third abundant A.
