摘要: The object of this research is to investigate the tribological properties glycerol lubricant with aluminum nanoparticles as an additive and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) dispersive medium for iron friction using a thrust collar tribotester. Meanwhile, effects different concentrations nanoparticles, SDS, deionized water in on tribology were studied. experimental parameters set up according Taguchi technique, their influence coefficient (COF) wear rate examined by response surface methodology (RSM) analysis variance (ANOVA) methods. results employed optimize obtain best effects. optimal combination both minimum COF was found be 0.6667 weight percent (wt %) 2 wt % 10 content glycerol. topography average roughness also scanning electron microscope (SEM) Mitutoyo Surftest SJ-400 instrument. show that used reduce remarkably. energy spectrometer (EDS) utilized confirm deposition leading decreased wear.
