摘要: This paper describes a study of the trace element distribution in sediments, marine water and mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis Venetian Lagoon around Island Murano, an island with long tradition glassmaking. Trace elements analysed include Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Cr, Pb, Ni, Ag As. Sediments are contaminated Ag, As levels <2 m fraction that likely to cause adverse biological effects organisms. The pelite (<63 μm) is main carrier heavy metals at most sites. However, fine-grained coarse sand on southern coast Murano accounts for significant proportion Ni Pb. Most concentrations found soft tissue mussels appear be within recommended Italian international guidelines shellfish human consumption, only exception being relatively high levels. bioaccumulation Cr more pronounced shell these In lagoon, enriched than other areas Mediterranean, particular reference dissolved labile species As, Cr.
