摘要: Abstract The present study describes a new approach for aneurysm volume quantification on three-dimensional angiograms, which focuses solving three common technical problems: the variability associated with use of manual thresholds, irregular morphology some aneurysms, and imprecision limits between parent artery sac. method consists combining an algorithm automatic threshold determination spherical eraser tool that allows user to separate image from artery. accuracy volumetry after thresholding was verified in vitro experiment 57 measurements were performed using four artificial aneurysms known volume. reliability compared obtained technique ellipsoid approximation clinical setting 15 real angiograms 150 by five different users. mean error measurement 7.23%. significantly higher than approximation. Limits agreement two determined Bland–Altman plots ranged −14 13% complex −10.8 11.03% simple-shaped sacs. reproducibility lower (>20% variation) small (
