摘要: We attempted to find the suitable parents for development of tomato hybrids high salt soils by exploiting combining ability, gene action and heterosis. Six salt-tolerant three salt-intolerant genotypes, along with their 18 F1 crosses, were evaluated at seedling stage under 10 15 dS/m (NaCl) salinity stress, compared control level salinity. The experiment was laid out based on a two-way complete randomized design factorial arrangement two replications; data root shoot length, fresh dry weights, leaf area, plant Na(+), K(+) K(+)/Na(+) concentrations recorded. There significant variation within lines, testers, line × tester interaction all characters studied normal levels. Estimates ability indicated that low (10 dS/m) (15 salinities, BL1176 LO2875 showed GCA effects most traits studied. cross-combinations 6233 LO2875, CLN2498A x 17902 highest SCA values dS/m, respectively. Potence ratio over dominant type except area concentration (in dS/m). heterosis parameters observed in LO2875.
