摘要: Abstract This report documents the findings of study “Vehicle/Driver Monitoring for Enhanced Safety Transit Buses” conducted as part PATH project TO5400. The goal TO5400 is to design and implementation a reliable vehicle/driver monitoring system with aim enhance driving safety transit buses . main objectives are: (1) identify simply model that best describes patterns human drivers, (2) develop an algorithm which can generate warning messages when there provision danger. In this study, it assumed driver sets angle steering wheel in response lateral deviation vehicle from center line road and/or curvature ahead he/she infers visual perception. It also dynamic relationship between (i.e. inputs driver) output may be represented by linear Auto Regressive Moving Average eXogeneous (ARMAX) structure. order ARMAX determined off-line analysis experimental data collected actual tests. Once determined, parameters estimated processing input real time during driving. on-line prediction estimate three critical safety: driver’s (t
