摘要: Chordoma is a relatively rare malignant bone tumor that considered to arise in the remnant of embryonic notochord. retains both epithelial and mesenchymal characters. Anti-Cytokeratin, CAM5.2 mainly reacts with Moll’s peptide #8 has been most often used for researches cell differentiation or clinicopathology. Since 1980s, immunohistochemical analysis expression cytokeratins including useful discriminating chordoma from chondrosarcoma because two tumors resemble each other radiologic histologic findings. In contrast chondrosarcoma, which shows completely negative immunoreactivity cytokeratins, exhibits positive cytokeratin expression. However, varies case pancytokeratin usually strongly expressed entire lesions chordoma. addition, clinicopathologic significance unknown Previous reports indicated correlation several clinicopathological parameters biology This review offers an overview role
