摘要: A set of 20 accessions durum wheat (Triticum turgidum L., group), which mostly included exotic landraces from various Mediterranean countries, and four Italian improved varieties were evaluated for grain yield in five environments quality traits two Sicily. Glutenin composition was also assessed electrophoretically on six seeds per entry. The cultivars differed (P ≤ 0.01) yield, protein content sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS-sed) sedimentation volume, the presence significant 0.001) genotype-environment interaction effects. These effects large moderately relative to genotype main following estimation variance components. Most yielded comparably with, some them showed greater stability than, best yielding variety 'Simeto'. Some combined outstanding SDS-sedimentation values represent therefore extremely valuable germplasm sources broaden local genetic base. glutenin LMW-2 HMW 7 + 8 positively associated with gluten quality. Six entries heterogeneous electrophoretic patterns, suggesting different genotypes within cultivar.
