摘要: The present paper investigates the problem of stability tunnel face under seepage flow conditions based upon so-called “method slices”. This computational model improves limit equilibrium method Anagnostou and Kovari (1996) by treating in wedge consistently with overlying prism, i.e. without an a priori assumption concerning distribution vertical stresses. Furthermore, it shows that tensile failure may be more critical than shear failure, if gradient hydraulic head ground ahead is high. For approximate around face, we derive closed-form solution for necessary support pressure. In addition, provide normalized diagrams, which allow quick assessment face.
