摘要: Geographical patterns in the distribution of epifaunal crustaceans (Amphipoda, Isopoda and Tanaidacea) occurring with dominant macroalgal species were investigated along Portuguese rocky coast. Three regions, each encompassing six shores, studied. Algal selected according to their geographical distribution: Mastocarpusstellatus Chondrus crispus (north); Bifurcariabifurcata (north-centre); Plocamiumcartilagineum Cystoseiratamariscifolia (centre-south); Corallina spp. Codiumtomentosum (entire coast). Multivariate techniques used test for differences crustacean assemblage composition between sub-regions host algal species. A clear gradient substitution was observed from north south. Differences abundance diversity southern locations remaining sites. Four recorded first time Among 57 taxa identified, limits three northern four Interestingly, not related changes indentity
