摘要: Application of atomic force microscopy (AFM) in liquid is necessary for imaging and manipulation biological specimens. Frequency response an AFM cantilever immersed near a surface depends on mechanical properties, geometrical dimensions also the distance between surface. The formulas wet quality factor resonance frequency amplitude are extracted based modal method with first mode by simulation oscillatory motion microcantilevers. effects amount microcantilever frequency, peak vibration observed. This knowledge can help choosing appropriate parameters cantilevers environment.
