摘要: The inflorescence is an important component for the reproductive success in plants. At onset of vegetative to tissue transition, a series biological processes which affect yield plant take place within inflorescence: shoot apical meristem floral commitment and flowering (inflorescence meristem), sex differentiation, male-to-female flower ratio, seed setting, fruiting. Jatropha curcas or physic nut gaining recognition worldwide its lucrative biofuel potentials; however, present planting material offers considerable constraints such as poor yield, predominantly attributed by unpredictable number inflorescences flowers. This chapter discusses molecular aspects J. with regard reproductive-related organs/tissues shoot, bud, male female Transcriptome genomic analyses related components have been identified discussed benefit breeding programs targeted enhancement strategies. Bioinformatics approaches transcriptome data based on differentially expressed gene analysis co-expression network modelling are also addressed selection candidate genes interest programs. In addition, complete view basis that governs development specifications described.
