摘要: Abstract The Voroneţ Monastery is one of the greatest cultural treasures Romania, dating from 15th century. In present study, green and blue pigments its exterior frescoes (16th century) were analyzed through fibre-coupled Raman spectroscopy. A wide range typical pigments, including malachite, basic Cu sulphates, azurite, lazurite, smalt, gypsum, anhydrite calcite found, together with other “rare pigments,” such as conichalcite dolerophanite. pigment either a mixture malachite or sulphates while contains azurite minor quantity gypsum anhydrite. identification these very important for restoration work, monastery being UNESCO World Heritage Site.
