摘要: Thyroidectomy decreased the content of short-chain fatty acids and increased long-chain in mammary glands lactating rats. This effect was replicated untreated rats limited to same food intake as thyroidectomized animals. incorporation [6-(14)C]glucose into longer-chain acids. Restriction animals did not cause a similar shift pattern. The possibility that thyroxine on lipogenesis is secondary its carbohydrate metabolism discussed.
