摘要: Soil pollution with metals alters ecosystem structure and function, as well poses risks to human health. In this study the distribution coefficients (Kd) were determined for Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Zn in 21 soils from eastern Amazonian via Freundlich adsorption isotherm. The stepwise multiple regression models used estimate Kd values through combined effect of soil attributes. Multiple regressions showed that strongly correlated pH, CEC Fe oxide contents. A close association between properties was observed using three principal components (PCA) Pearson's correlation. analysis concentration related Mn oxides contents, which combination explained 90 percent variation. This probably happens because greater affinity those formed predominantly under tropical conditions.
