摘要: Hepatitis C RNA testing has been used extensively to assess the efficacy of antiviral therapy and increasingly become an integral part clinical management patients with chronic hepatitis C. A variety commercially available virus (HCV) tests are detect HCV qualitatively or quantitatively. These commercial have fundamental differences that reflected on values they generate. We compared two widely assays, SuperQuant (SQ) Amplicor Monitor (M1 M2), in sera total 506 from 79 were tested both assays. The data logarithmically transformed analyzed by linear regression measurement agreement. Two hundred thirty-eight had within dynamic range correlation between assays was fair, a coefficient (r) 0.699. Overall, SQ generated higher than M1 mean difference 0.558 log (SD = 0.624). One ninety-four (38%) 121 (24%) below SQ, respectively. Seventy-three sera, undetectable M1, positive SQ. 2.0 (M2) performed 66 sera. All M2, but only 38 M1. correlations these good (r 0.68-0.78), agreement rather poor. In conclusion, this study confirms M2 more sensitive Additionally, our results show poor agreements recent attempts standardizing reporting should make their easily interchangeable.
