摘要: A rapid fluorometric method has been developed to evaluate the viability of isolated islet cells. The assay differentiates between viable and nonviable cells by simultaneous use inclusion exclusion dyes acridine orange propidium iodide. When viewed fluorescent microscopy, fluoresce green, while bright red. Although iodide measures membrane integrity, results this correlate with other cell viability.
