摘要: PURPOSE To assess retinal architectural alterations that occur following membrane peeling procedures and the impact of peel technique on these utilizing intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT). METHODS This is a subanalysis prospective PIONEER iOCT study eyes undergoing for vitreomacular interface (VMI) disorder. Intraoperative scanning was performed with microscope-mounted OCT system. Macroarchitectural (e.g., full-thickness elevations) microarchitectural relative layer thickness alterations) were analyzed. Video/iOCT correlation to identify instrument-tissue manipulations resulting in macroarchitectural alterations. RESULTS One hundred sixty-three included analysis. Instrumentation utilized forceps alone 73 (45%), combined diamond-dusted scraper (DDMS) 87 (53%), other techniques three (2%). Focal elevations identified 45 163 (28%). 69% involved compared 26% due DDMS. Sixteen percent persisted 1 month surgery. The analysis 134 eyes. Immediately peeling, there significant increase ellipsoid zone pigment epithelium height (+20%, P < 0.00001) cone outer segment tips (+18%, 0.00001). CONCLUSIONS Significant subclinical changes during VMI conditions. Differences surgical instruments may
