摘要: PURPOSE To evaluate ultrastructural macular changes during rhegmatogenous retinal detachment repair using intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT). METHODS A multisurgeon, single-center consecutive case series of 9 eyes undergoing surgical for macula-involving with iOCT imaging a custom microscope-mounted spectral domain OCT system. All patients underwent combined vitrectomy/scleral buckle repair. Imaging characteristics were analyzed, including persistence subclinical subretinal fluid and architectural associated maneuvers. Clinical analyzed. RESULTS Nine nine identified that Persistent was in 100% after perfluoro-n-octane instillation. Significant alterations to the foveal architecture detected cases. Three configurations noted based on findings. Stage 1 characterized by small area subfoveal hyporeflectivity (3/9 eyes), 2 had prominent thinning indeterminate hole (MH) formation 3 demonstrated definitive full-thickness MH eyes). No have preoperatively or immediate postoperative period. One eye developed 7 months postoperatively. configuration poorer final visual acuity (P = 0.009). CONCLUSION Microarchitectural occur detachments, significant persistent fluid. These features may help prognosticate outcomes. findings also suggest possible novel mechanism postrhegmatogenous formation.
