摘要: It is well-known that the reliability evaluation of composite power systems computationally demanding. This work introduces a state space classification (SSC) technique classifies system’s into failure, success, and unclassified subspaces without performing flow analysis. The SSC was developed based on calculating maximum capacity transmission lines available generation. An algorithm, which directed binary particle swarm optimisation, to search for failure states in subspaces. key element controlling optimisation (PSO) method selection weighting factors velocity update rule. presented this study proposes an intelligent PSO adjust these dynamic fashion. effectiveness proposed demonstrated three test systems, Institute Electrical Electronics Engineers system (IEEE RTS), modified IEEE RTS Saskatchewan Power Corporation Canada. results have shown indices obtained using correspond closely with those Monte Carlo simulation less computation burden.
