摘要: Aggregates of phytoferritin particles have been observed by electron microscopy in chloroplasts leaf pinnae from the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera L.) which yellowed due to senescence, lethal yellowing disease, scale insect infestation, or physical damage. Phytoferritin was not found green same trees. We conclude that is a breakdown product associated with disruption chloroplast structure and photosynthetic activity inCocos specifically disease.
