摘要: In two experiments, rats received preexposure consisting of six intraperitoneal injections lithium chloride (LiCl). This treatment reduced the magnitude unconditioned response (UR; suppressed consumption a novel flavor) evoked by an additional injection (Experiment 1) or oral 2) LiCl. both also attenuated acquisition conditioned aversion with LiCl as stimulus (US) but had no effect on produced when US was 2). These results are consistent view that ability preexposed to serve reinforcer depends blocking injection-related cues and is independent habituation UR recorded in present study. Possible interpretations this dissociation discussed.
