摘要: Abstract The zodiacal light (ZL) has been newly derived from photo-polarimetric nightsky observations at Mt. Haleakala, Hawaii on the night of 21/22 August, 1968. resulting ZL brightness map spatial resolution 2° × 2° and covers most sky that can be reached ground, extending ecliptic longitude over 30°⩽Λ−Λ⊙⩽330° latitude −90°⩽β⩽90°. By utilizing a semi-empirical method for correcting atmospheric diffuse an improved technique making individual star subtraction, we have reduced relative uncertainty in previous level ∼20% down to ∼10%, which helps reveal small scale structures observed distribution. Since primary data base employed our reduction was restricted single night, demonstrates asymmetries distribution morning evening sides also northern southern hemispheres. From these were able locate plane maximum density interplanetary dust particles inclination i≃2° ascending node Ω≃80° . To improve homogenize coverage then supplemented with six additional nights, four August two February same year. folding hemispheres upon each other, constructed observational model 2° intervals coordinates.
