摘要: Objectives: To assess the systematic health effects on liver, kidney, and haematological function tests of workers in semiconductors Taiwan. Methods: 926 a semiconductor plant Taiwan July 1995 were investigated. Complete blood including functions available from 227 workers. Results: There was significantly lower mean (SD) white cell (WBC) count male photolithography (5870 (1190)/mm3, p=0.003) implantation (6190 (1150)/mm3, p=0.018) than that control (7350 (1660)/mm3). higher prevalence leukopenia (6 20; 30%) (1 18; 5.6%), crude odds ratio (OR) 7.3 (95% confidence interval CI) 1 to 55.6), multivariate adjusted OR 8.1 CI 0.83 78.3). The for serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT), pyruvic (SGPT), γ glutamyl transferase (RGT), creatinine not significant among Female had abnormal SGPT RGT borderline significance, ORs 9.6 0.86 107) 6.35 0.53 75.8), respectively. Conclusions: This study suggests is potential effect fabrication industry. tasks process, maintenance, equipment engineers which consisted mostly men put them at risk intermittent short term peak exposure glycol ethers, ionising radiation, arsenic, or other toxins. findings this medical surveillance are significant; however, further investigation aetiological factors subsequent necessary.
