摘要: A reduction in crop spoilage and an increase shelf-life is the goal of effective disease control methods. This study aimed to assess ZnO-nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) as a safe, new protectant against Rhizopus soft rot sweet potato. ZnO-NPs had fungicidal effect stolonifer when used at concentrations above 50 ppm. The results showed that tubers treated with exhibited fewer fungal populations (1.2 CFU per segment) than those did not receive treatment. Tubers infected no visible decay for up 15 days, indicating act coating layer on tuber surface. greatest weight loss after days storage was reported (8.98%), followed by ZnO (6.54%) (3.79%). activity cell-wall degrading enzymes, α-amylase cellulase, were significantly increased both ZnO, compared ZnO-NPs. These confirm method protecting potato from infection, maintaining their quality increasing 2 months storage.
