Methane Pyrolysis to Acetylene in Gliding Arc Plasma Driven by Magnetism

摘要: Acetylene is an important organic chemical material. Traditional process using CaC2 as raw material will lead to serious pollution and higher energy consumption. As a new process, methane pyrolysis in arc plasma has many advantages, such simple technological less pollution, continuous preparation easy magnification etc. Methane conversion acetylene was performed the gliding reactor under different specific magnetic field intensity. The experimental results were analyzed, showed that intensity could affect rate of methane, selectivity yield acetylene, consumption acetylene.
