摘要: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a member of the tyrosine kinases ErbB family and it found to be overexpressed in gastric cancer. However, mechanism regulation EGFR expression still unknown. We used Sequenom EpiTYPER assay detect methylation status promoter normal tumour tissues 30 patients with also carried out quantitative real time PCR (qPCR) level our patients. Notably, increased at was than corresponding adjacent noncancerous. In both Region I DMR II detected study, tumor were significantly hypermethylated (P = 2.7743E−10 2.1703E−05, respectively). I_⊿CpG_2 associated presence distant metastasis (P = 0.0323). Furthermore, results showed strongly significant association between relative changes (P = 0.0004 0.0001, Our findings help indicate hypermethylation cancer could potential epigenetic biomarker for progression.
