摘要: The causes of intracranial hemorrhage in the newborn infant include congenital bleeding disorders (hemophilia), thrombocytopenia, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), asphyxia, infection, trauma, hemorrhagic disease (vitamin K deficiency), and those unknown etiology. last category occurs primarily premature is usually termed subependymal hemorrhage-intraventricular (SEH-IVH). role hemostatic defects IVH has been reviewed previously by Hathaway Bonnar [1,2]. purpose this communication to review update these discussions emphasize an hypothesis relating abnormal hemostasis etiology neonatal IVH.
