摘要: Most new futures contracts fail. This study estimates the effects of several factors on success or failure agricultural contracts. Commodities with markets and without are included. Characteristics for which no data exist, such as homogeneity, vertical integration, buyer concentration, activeness cash market, measured by Delphi approach. An active market is found to be necessary contract since this variable alone perfectly predicts whether not a commodity has market.
