摘要: Abstract Objectives Clematichinenoside AR (AR) is a saponin extracted for traditional Chinese medicine with the effects of improving expression tight junction (TJ) proteins and mediating anti-inflammatory activities. However, its effect on Crohn's disease (CD) still unknown. We aimed to investigate impact CD-like colitis determine mechanism underlying effects. Methods Interleukin-10 gene knockout (Il-10−/−) mice (male, fifteen weeks old) spontaneous were allocated positive control AR-treated (32 mg/kg administered every other day by gavage 4 weeks) groups. Wild-type (WT) composed negative group. The intestinal barrier function structure T cell responses as well potential mechanisms these investigated. Results treatment significantly improved in Il-10−/− demonstrated reductions inflammatory score, activity index (DAI) levels factors. related protecting maintaining immune system homeostasis (regulatory (Treg)/T helper 17 (Th17) balance). anticolitis may partly act downregulating PI3K/Akt signaling. Conclusions have therapeutic treating CD humans.
