摘要: With the advent of immunotherapies for cancer, there is growing interest in identification tumor antigens. Tumor antigens are self-molecules altered through e.g. genetic mutations (neoantigens), protein truncation, misfolding, or abnormal posttranslational modifications. To induce an immune response, need to be secreted into environment and presented system draining lymph nodes, resulting generation tumor-specific effector cells antibodies. Cytotoxic T thought responsible killing cells, several recent studies have used MS, combined with exome/transcriptome sequencing bioinformatics, identify their cognate peptide ligands on MHC class I molecules. Circulating (serum) antibodies been more widely a range human cancers, using 2D Western blots, immunoaffinity, microarray technologies. More specific antibody probes generated by harvesting directly from antibody-secreting vitro cultures node (antibody-secreting probes) B-cell immortalization. Further characterization likely important implications cancer diagnostic biomarker discovery, profiling, development vaccines targeted immunotherapies.
