摘要: Objectives: The main objective of this paper is to find the best method for collecting data VANET in terms communication overhead, average latency and packet delivery ratio. Methods/Analysis: OMNet++ used compare existing techniques collection at single RSU. Performance Index calculated by finding Communication Overhead (CO), Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) each scheme collection. with higher value performance index will outperform others. Simulation parameters like dimension space, minimum velocity maximum vehicles are kept constant. Findings: Comparison different Data Collection Schemes done on basis index. shows effectiveness schemes. PI based various CO, Latency, PDR. a decreases when CO increases vice-versa. So, if number messages increase hence decrease PI. time delay more PDR packets received destination be Analysis results show that VIB-CP among all DCSs, as it has less low latency, high Novelty/Improvement: heterogeneous made same their measured. Out schemes analyzed outperforms.
