摘要: Scrapie is a fatal, neurodegenerative disease of sheep and goats. It also the earliest known member in family diseases classified as transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE) or prion diseases, which includes Creutzfeldt-Jakob humans, bovine encephalopathy (BSE), chronic wasting cervids. The recent revelation naturally occurring BSE goat has brought issue TSE goats to attention public. In contrast scrapie, presents proven risk humans.
