摘要: We investigated the effect of synthetic antimicrobial decapeptide KSL-W (KKVVFWVKFK) on normal human gingival fibroblast growth, migration, collagen gel contraction, and α-smooth muscle actin protein expression. Results show that in addition to promoting adhesion by increasing F-actin production, peptide promoted cell growth S G2/M cycle phases, enhanced secretion metalloproteinase (MMP)-1 MMP-2 upregulating MMP inhibitors, such as tissue inhibitors (TIMP)-1 TIMP-2 fibroblasts. An vitro wound healing assay confirmed migration contraction a matrix. also demonstrated high expression fibroblasts being exposed KSL-W. This work shows enhances secretion, actin, thus healing.
