摘要: Pattern reconfigurable antennas implemented in small adaptive arrays can serve as practical solutions applications, which are limited by available platform space while providing additional degrees of pattern control. This communication integrates the concept variability directly into an array optimization routine with a unique antenna element equivalent model, allowing algorithm to fully leverage reconfigurability—which may include individual beam tilts and nulls. Examples showcase model’s impact on performance via signal-to-interference plus noise ratio metric. The results establish pathway specifying design requirements for improve performance, demonstrating that designers should focus null steering capability many cases.
