摘要: Desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) mass spectrometry imaging is demonstrated as a detection technique for penetration experiments of drugs in skin. Lidocaine ointment was used the model compound ex vivo with whole pig ears skin model. Follicular transport lidocaine into deeper layers first time. Furthermore, metabolism to 3-OH-lidocaine observed subcutaneous tissue well lobules white adipose surrounding hair follicles. These results suggest that it advantageous use full thickness skin, including tissue, studies.
