摘要: Candida albicans is a commensal resident of the human gastrointestinal and genital tracts. Under conditions such as dysbiosis, host immune perturbances, or presence catheters/implanted medical devices, fungus may cause debilitating mucosal fatal systemic infections. The ability C. to grow long filamentous hyphae critical for its pathogenic potential it allows invade underlying substratum. In this brief review, I will outline current understanding regarding mechanistic regulation hyphal growth invasion in albicans.
