摘要: Access to effective smoking cessation programs is crucial reducing smoking-related morbidity and mortality. Several studies have shown promising results for the application of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) in managing psychological or behavioral health problems. However, date, only one study has examined feasibility a telephone-based ACT it was conducted among Western population, United States. This reports protocol randomized controlled trial (RCT) examining potential efficacy an individual, telephone-delivered primary healthcare settings Chinese population. A randomized, two-group design chosen, with assessment at baseline (before intervention) via telephone follow-ups three six months. Subjects will be proactively recruited from centers. Eligible participants either intervention control group following assessment. Both groups receive self-help materials on cessation. Those undergo initial face-to-face session two sessions week month first session, delivered by counselor based treatment protocol.
