摘要: Background Besides physical problems, cigarette smoking is associated with a high prevalence of comorbid depression and anxiety symptoms. One the reasons behind post-cessation lapse relapse rates inattentiveness to these symptoms during process cessation. The aim this study was examine effects acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) on male smokers' Methods This two-group pre-test-post-test randomized controlled trial done random sample seventy smokers. Participants were randomly evenly allocated an intervention control group. Patients in groups received either or routine psychological counseling services include cognitive behavior therapy, respectively. Study data collected through demographic questionnaire, Structural Clinical Interview (SCI) for Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders-4th Edition (DSM-IV) disorders, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Anxiety (BAI), Micro Smokerlyzer carbon monoxide monitor. SPSS software employed analyze data. Findings After intervention, scores cessation rate group respectively lower higher than (P < 0.050). Conclusion ACT can significantly improve rate. Thus, it be used simultaneously manage depression, anxiety, smoking.
