摘要: Abstract. Field observations and quantum chemical calculations have shown that organic amine compounds may be important for new particle formation involving H 2 SO 4 . Here, we report laboratory investigate the effect of trimethylamine (TMA) on -H O nucleation made under aerosol precursor concentrations typically found in lower troposphere ([H ] 10 6 −10 7 cm −3 ; [TMA] 180–1350 pptv). The threshold [H needed to produce unity J was from slopes Log vs. were 4–6 1, respectively, strikingly similar case ammonia (NH 3 ternary (Benson et al., 2011). At RH, however, enhancement due TMA up an order magnitude greater than NH These findings imply both amines are species, but dry atmospheric conditions, stronger effects Aerosol models should therefore take into account inorganic base together fully understand widespread events troposphere.
