摘要: [1] Measurements of marine aerosol chemistry, using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry, as well microphysics, hygroscopicity and cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) activity were undertaken during new particle growth events. The events detected in air advecting over North East (NE) Atlantic waters the EUCAARI Intensive Observation Period June 2008 at Mace Head, Ireland. During these events, spectrometers illustrated increases accumulation mode phase nitrogenated aliphatic compounds thought to condense from gas phase. Since composition changes observed occurred simultaneously accumulation, Aitken nucleation modes, both is attributed species. Nitrogenated like amines are also plausible candidates process, suggested by quantum mechanic calculations. It that amides organic nitrites, identified spectrometers, possible candidate chemical compounds, suggesting multiple types species may be contributing. Given open ocean formation occur very clean polar masses, we suggest responsible for mainly biogenic origin. Despite increasing number concentration, initial effect suppress CCN activity.
