摘要: A quantitative magnetization transfer imaging (qMTI) study, based on a two-pool model of transfer, was performed seven normal subjects to determine, regional basis, values for the pool sizes, exchange, and relaxation parameters that characterize MT phenomenon. Regions were identified high-resolution anatomical scans using combination manual automatic methods. Only voxels as pure tissue at resolution considered analysis. While no left/right differences observed, significant found among white-matter regions gray-matter regions. These compared with existing cytoarchitectural data. In addition, pattern magnitude observed in white matter be different from reported previously an alternative putative MRI measure myelination, 10-50-ms T2 component described myelin water.
