摘要: The microstructure and mechanical behaviour of Al-based composites reinforced with TiAl intermetallic particles has been examined in the as-extruded state after processing by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP). latter produces a grain size reduction aluminium matrix to values 500 nm, using route A, 750 C. ECAP up 75% increase yield stress composites, being more rapid when A is used. strengthening effect much larger than that obtained increasing volume fraction reinforcement from 25 50% these composites.
