摘要: Floristic studies are fundamental for the applied s ciences such as rangeland management and conservation. Unique ecological climatic conditions in Northern Khorasan Province (NKP) make it a remarkable habitat floristic studies. Plant species were collected from 50 field sites, representing major habitats of winter rural rangelands. Surveys conducted during active growth periods 2007 2008. identified their chorology life form determined through laboratory examinations by using reference books. surveys resulted identification 534 plant species, belonged to 315 genus 68 families. Asteraceae, Poaceae Fabaceae respectively most abundant Among forms, Hemicryptophytes, Therophytes, Chamaephytes, Phanerophytes Geophytes included 45, 32, 9, 7 7% total respectively. Irano-Turanian was dominant (65%) Chorotypes. The dominance Hemicryptophytes well vast distribution can be referred simultaneous effects climate fluctuations livestock grazing on flora rangelands NKP.
