Contributions to the flora and vegetation of Binalood mountain range, NE Iran: Floristic and chorological studies in Fereizi region

摘要: The mountainous area of Fereizi is located in northwestern Binalood range, Khorassan, north east Iran. Special climatic and geographical characteristics the make it a suitable habitat for various plant species. As part research poject on flora vegetation mountain floristic composition this area, life forms chorology vascular plants have been determined with emphasis endemism. During several collection excursions 2005 to 2007, total number 484 taxa were identified belonging 229 genera 59 families. largest families are Asteraceae (63 species), Poaceae (51 Fabaceae (50 species) Brassicaceae (43 species). Astragalus (25 Allium (13 richest genera. dominant hemicryptophytes therophytes. strongly influenced by Irano-Turanian elements (56.8%). analysis endemism shows that inhabited 49 subendemic 21 Iranian endemic species from which 13 northeast Iran three rare threatened Ferula flabelliloba, Cousinia termei Sisymbrium integerrimum local endemics range.
