摘要: Studies of gene expression during the eukaryotic cell cycle in whole-culture synchronized cultures have been published using many methodologies. These procedures alter state for a population cells, rather than purifying cells that are same state. Criticism these methods (e.g. see Cooper, this issue, pp. 266-269, ) suggests studies flawed, and posits such methodologies cannot be used to study because they size age distributions cultures. We believe work even though distributions: still progress through although we do not suggest perfect, will explain how microarray successfully identified regulated genes why results biologically meaningful.
