摘要: Monoclonal antibody W3/25, which recognizes rat T helper cells, was injected i.p. or i.v. into Lewis rats with clinical signs of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE). This treatment, given 12 13 days after inducing EAE by the injection purified myelin basic protein, significantly affected course disease in that treated animals recovered, on average, 2 days, whereas control exhibited for a minimum 4 days. Two pan-T cell monoclonal antibodies similar dosage failed to affect disease.
